In early 2000, RP Books set out to publish the first Ruin Mist book, based on the fantasy world created by author Robert Stanek. Robert Stanek envisioned a world where men and elves were enemies, where magic was forbidden, where kings and commoners alike had roles in the fate of the world, and where ancient alliances kept the world in an unsteady peace. He peopled his world with titans, dragons, elves dwarves, humans, gnomes, eagle lords, and many other fantastical creatures.

The first stories set in the world of Ruin Mist are called the Ruin Mist Chronicles. They tell the tale of the return of the elves to the kingdoms of men, the shattering of the ancient alliances, and the war that may destroy the world. Already more than ten books set in the world of Ruin Mist have been published. If you want to learn more about the world of Ruin Mist, check out the Ruin Mist Chronicles, beginning with Keeper Martin's Tale by Robert Stanek. You can also find more Ruin Mist books in the fantasy section of your local bookstore or library.
